Questions about Drip line connector
Ohana is an hourly service. Labor follows the actual tracked service time at the applicable local market rate, with a one-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after the first hour. The service estimate is for planning, not a flat-rate promise.
The current catalog estimate is about 10 minutes, based on Ohana's historical appointment data. Actual conditions can change the time, and the assigned handyman will discuss meaningful differences or added scope with you before continuing.
Yes, when time, tools, and allowed scope permit. Ohana has a one-hour minimum, so if the original task finishes early you can ask about another reasonable household task, and additional paid work can also be added with your approval.
The standard 24-hour policy applies. At least 24 hours before the appointment is risk-free. Inside 24 hours, one effective appointment hour may apply for the reserved time.
Ohana keeps the appointment record inside the platform, including available timestamps, before-and-after photos, notes, approved scope changes, payment records, customer sign-off, and job history. The handyman is background-checked, and workmanship concerns follow the established warranty path.
Transparent local-market pricing, documented time, and approved scope changes.
Real appointment times, actual tracked service time, clear scope changes, documented work, and customer sign-off.
Service-time estimates come from roughly 13,000 completed appointments. They are planning estimates, not fixed-duration promises. Unless a service is specifically designated otherwise, labor follows actual tracked time at the applicable local rate, with a one-hour minimum and 15-minute increments after the first hour.
You book a scheduled appointment time, not a broad arrival window. If onsite conditions, scope, or expected time differ, your handyman discusses the change with you before continuing.
If the booked task takes less than the one-hour minimum, ask about another reasonable household task while the handyman is there. Add another small repair, take care of a punch-list item, or use the remaining time for practical help instead of wasting it.
Your handyman discusses material and equipment needs with you. Standard capability includes a roughly 9-foot ladder where relevant; larger or specialty equipment can be arranged when needed. Normal cleanup includes putting ordinary job debris into your onsite trash or dumpster.
Ohana securely keeps the payment method used for the appointment. Final payment and job records stay inside the platform rather than being handled directly between you and the handyman.
The appointment can retain timestamps, before-and-after photos, notes, scope changes, payment records, sign-off, and job history so both the customer and handyman have a documented record of what happened.
Before the job is fully closed, you review the completed work and recorded time, sign off, and can leave a review for the handyman.
Your handyman is an independent, background-checked professional responsible for the work they perform. You can see their profile, photo, business/contact information, reviews, and service details and contact them with job questions. Workmanship concerns follow Ohana's established warranty path; genuinely new or added work remains paid scope and is discussed separately.
24-hour cancellation policy: 24+ hours before the appointment is risk-free with no customer cancellation payment. Inside 24 hours, one effective appointment hour may apply for the reserved time.
Materials and store time: customer materials are paid for by the customer with no material markup. If sourcing or pickup is needed after inspection, the handyman discusses it first and the applicable service time is documented.
Dump runs: normal onsite cleanup is included. A true trip to a dump/disposal facility is separate and adds the established post-job time allowance plus the applicable dump/disposal fee.
Add work while they are there: additional services may be added when the handyman has the time, tools, and allowed scope. Added work is confirmed before it is performed.
Warranty vs. new work: workmanship concerns use the warranty path; product defects, customer-caused damage, and new or different work are handled according to the actual cause and scope.
Local limits: work is subject to applicable licensing, permit, and handyman rules. If the requested work falls outside the professional's allowed scope, they stop and explain the next step.
